About Lorenzo Hogue

Lorenzo is a Navajo metal sculptor working mainly with steel. His work is very contemporary and is influenced from his Native roots. He incorporates a lot of feathers made out of cut steel that are fired at certain tempatures to get the different colored effects.

When Lolonzo meant up with Ambrose Teasyatwho in 1993 Ambrose encouraged him to get into making art. Ambrose mentored him for over a year teaching him how to work with steel.

Lorenzo has a studio in Farmington, NM. He's always pushing his skills to explore and venture out into new ways to express his creativity.

Lorenzo does a lot of consignments and he can be reached here.
